I wanted to do a pattern with birds for Hoodie Lab, I dont know much about birds so I tried the most common bird possible, sparrows.

I used pictures of sparrows from the internet, and worked over it with different digital painting techniques to try get a look closer to traditional acrylic painting. I may sound weird, but I wasted more time in the background than in the birds, as I need to create a large image over 6000px to make sure prints are sharp but didnt wanted to add just a plain color background, and I spent a lot of time trying different combinations that could work with all the products good enough.

This are the sample pictures for products with Hoodie Lab, my favourite is the sweatshirt, it is quite close to the look I was trying to get, and I will add in the future other animals pattern using same workflow, it is really fun to work this.
